Postdoctoral Opportunity - UCLouvain
UCLouvain Institute of Neuroscience has opened a postdoctoral position for a project led by Giulia Liberati on using invasive and non-invasive brain stimulation to module pain perception in humans.
The project involves using invasive and non-invasive brain stimulation methods to investigate the relationship between EEG oscillatory activity and pain perception, and to develop brain stimulation protocols for chronic pain patients. The position requires experience with electroencephalography and brain stimulation, as well as strong data analysis skills. The project will be conducted in collaboration with Saint-Luc University Clinic and will run for 2 years with the possibility of extension.
Requirements:
- A PhD in neuroscience, cognitive science, medicine, engineering, or similar.
- Experience with electroencephalography and brain stimulation.
- Strong expertise in data analyses.
- The candidate should have not resided or worked in Belgium for the past 24 months.
